Extend shortcode to show specific content only
Quote from Asgaros on June 17, 2017, 12:16 pmHello collandi,
this is not possible. But you can put all forums you want to show inside a category and use the shortcode to display that category instead.

Quote from Asgaros on November 28, 2017, 8:04 pmHi natchoice,
yes, the forum is only working when the shortcode is placed in the content of the page-editor. The reason is that I only included css/js files and execute some background-logic on the site when the forum is located in a visited page. When the shortcode is included via some other third-party plugins its basically not stored in the content-area which makes it impossible for the plugin to figure out if it is there or not.

Quote from natchoice on December 26, 2017, 4:34 amSo I should clarify the forum is displayed but it is the whole thing rather than the individual forum based on the id. It works on a blank page with nothing else and some other pages with shortcodes so I wonder what prevents it from working on this particular page.

Quote from Asgaros on January 3, 2018, 1:00 pmMh, hard to say. It could be some configuration problem with another plugin which prevents the execution/parsing of the forum-shortcode.

Quote from Asgaros on February 12, 2018, 9:35 pmI just tested it and its working fine. First ensure that you are using the correct “-characters. It could also be a problem caused by another extension because the shortcode is not executed at all in your screenshot. Please try to disable them and check if its working again to find the cause for it.

Quote from Tectas on February 20, 2018, 12:09 pmHi, first of, great work, it looks great and works like a charm 🙂
I’d still have a question regarding the filters, is it somehow possible to only show people their own threads but not those of others if they aren’t a specific roll, mod e.g.?
Would be a neat thing for recruitment forums, but I don’t seem to find if it’s possible already (no big deal if not, would just be nice).
Thanks in advance for an answer!
