D’oh, just lost my post as a result of clicking ‘subscribe to this topic’ before publishing it. It’s frustrating to accidentally lose a draft, especially if one wrote a manifesto. My (lost) comment was short, so no big deal, but you may want to address this in a future release.

Anywho, just wanted to thank you for the regular updates, bug fixes, etc. and really, really looking forward to the BuddyPress integration. Once completed/pushed it will take Asgaros to another level. Thanks again.

Hello @kitco

I added the “unsaved changes-warning” to my todo-list:

https://github.com/Asgaros/asgaros-forum/issues/204

Thank you for your suggestion! 🙂

Really nice feature @asgaros !
Thank you very much for this potential addition:)

I am currently working on a buddypress-integration – but not for the groups-feature because Asgaros Forum has its own usergroup-functionality which is deeply-integrated into the forum-logic.

thank you

By any chance are you going to allow integration with buddy press because the groups they have would be awesome with this forum. 🙂 also I love how buddypress is set up with permissions as well..

Thanks

That’s a great suggestion! BuddyPress integration would definitely add a whole new layer of community features. Group support + permissions + this forum setup = a perfect match. Would love to see this considered in future updates!

@helena

I also use Buddypress to the Asgaros Forum.

They both work together superbly.

In addition, Buddypress offers many possibilities as added value for its members.

For example, I created a user card with Buddypress and Geo my Wordpress.

For us a super addition, as we are motorcyclists and often visit each other.

That sounds like an unforgettable day! Nature, sunshine, and fun activities — such a perfect mix for learning and enjoying time with friends. Hope the final party was amazing and good luck with the orienteering tomorrow!
