Quote from Asgaros on May 19, 2019, 11:51 am@erenbur I see that those public filters make no sense for your environment. However, not everyone is using a separate account for writing. There is also the use-case that some members of a site want to contact one or more administrators and for this case there is actually a use-case to let users know who they can contact in case of questions/concerns/etc. So hiding this information can be good for you, but may be not an ideal approach for other set-ups. Some kind of settings for this are required and I have to evaluate how I can implement them. 🙂

Quote from Erenbur on May 19, 2019, 12:14 pmThomas, to communicate with the administration, it is best to make the functionality that is implemented on the PHPbb forums:
https://mosmasterremont.ru/forum/index.php
There at the bottom of the forum there is a button “Связаться с администрацией” – “Contact the administration”. When you click on it, the user gets into a special form https://mosmasterremont.ru/forum/contactadmin
where he can describe his problem. The notification will come to the administrator on the email.

Quote from Erenbur on May 19, 2019, 12:19 pmI will add that hiding administrators from the list should be a personal decision of each site administrator, and not a mandatory decision. In the forum settings, you can make a tick, whether or not to show administrators in the list of users.
My site is already very strongly protected from hacker attacks, but here on the forum there was a message that they hacked the site after seeing the admin login in the list of users. Therefore, I believe that it is necessary to allow the site administrator to hide the admin username and not show it to a potential site cracker.
