User editing

I don’t really like any of the member plugins, that allow “edit profile”. Is it planned that it will be integrated in this plugin? So that you don’t have to edit your profile through either Wordpress control panel or an alternative plugin.
Or do any of you have some good plugins for editing profiles?
I have tried BuddyPress, Ulitmate Member and Profile Press. But what ever I do it looks a bit off and clearly doesn’t fit in.

I am thinking about adding a profile editing-functionality directly into the plugin, but I cannot tell you yet when this will happen. The main reason why I still use the WP-Backend for this is:
- I dont need to re-implement a functionality which already exists and can be used
- Other WordPress-plugins which extend the existing profile-editing-functionality will not work if I use my own version for it
However, if you find another nice plugin for editing the profile in the frontend and want to change the edit-link shown in the forum, then you can use a code-snippet like the one which you can find here (at the end of the first post):

The best plugin i could find was BuddyPress, eventhough there is a lot of work with redesigning…
I was wondering if it was possible to show a button, in the asgaros profile tab, so people could see each other buddypress profiles?

The php-file inside the archive must be uploaded to the WordPress plugins-folder.
