URL address change
Quote from Erenbur on April 21, 2019, 12:31 pmWhen a forum is added to a category, the plugin itself forms its URL. Not always as it should, or later I want to change it. Now it is impossible. Thomas, a big request in subsequent updates to make it possible to edit URL.
A url is required: https://erenbur.ru/discussion/forum/elektroenergetika
“j” is superfluous

The URL-slug automatically gets created after the creation of a new topic or forum. I didnt add an option to modify it by purpose because changing the slug means that all links on other pages which points to this topic/forum will not work anymore. Search engines must update their indices as well to get aware of those changes.
The automated slug-generator also ensures that every slug is unique. If a site-owner uses the same slug for multiple topics/forums, then its not possible anymore to access those items.
If there really is the need to change the link, you can manually do it via a tool like phpMyAdmin. You can find the slug in theĀ slug-column in the following tables:
- wp_forum_topics for topic-slugs
- wp_forum_forums for forum-slugs
