The mentioning setting

Hi again!

The setting “Notify me when I get mentioned” is in the dashboard. This is a problem if you disallow dashboard access to users. As I have buddypress installed, which has a frontend profile editor, I blocked dashboard access to users and now I have to find a solution for this setting.

I think this setting should be on the frontend and the subscription area of Asgaros is a good place, in my opinion.

With the buddypress integration plugin, this setting could be added in the buddypress profile>Settings>Email Notifications as well.

Is there a snippet to add this setting on the frontend?

that seems to be a good enhancement for asgaros forum.

I created an issue at github to add this functionality to the plugin.
