Quote from ValeVelKal on May 7, 2021, 1:05 pmAs everyone, very happy with Asgaros. I was able to set the forum up in maybe half an hour and it serves 95% of my purposes !
As often, my thanks arrive with a couple of feedback (of course, I have only 3 users for the moment, I may have more feedbacks as I have more users and more probems).
- What took me the most time to set up was making sure that the “new users” on the forum do not have access to the dashboard. I had to use an external plugin (and tested several until I found the one I wanted). I am totally satisfied with the solution, but I would recommend you add this out of the box for future newcomers, since I believe it would be a common feedback and Asgaros strength is being an out of the box solution,
- For something that impacts me more directly, I would love to have an easy way to add or remove reactions (typically in settings, just uploading assets and activating deactivating them) them from there). I read some advice on how to do it by editing the code but I choose Asgaros not to have to do this 🙂
- Since I am on reactions, it would be nice to make the reaction panel disappear (except to display existing reaction or to “remove reaction”) once user has reacted. With only thumbs-up and thumbs-down, current behavior is fine, but since I plan to have a large number of available reaction …
