Styles missing after installing

Hi

I tried installing the plugin on a custom theme and the visual result is attached. Seems the entire styling is missing. Also, i get a 404 page when i try to access the only forum “Ørestad Syd”.

What am i missing since it isn’t working?

Hello @dw5000

Please check if you have set the correct forum-location in the settings. The forum is not working correctly if it does not point to the correct location.

I created a new page called forum and added the [forum] shorttag in the WYSIWIG editor. Checked settings and pointed to my new page. Still no difference 🙁

Okay, so it seems that the forum cannot find the shortcode on the current page so it does not load correctly.

Next step is to figure out which component causes this. You say you are using a custom theme so can you switch – for testing purposes – back to a default theme and let me know if its working well?

If its still not working try to disable other plugins one by one until the problem is gone: Finding the troublemaker and adjust its settings will fix this issue.

Alright, so i tried changing the theme between the standard Twenty-fifteen, sixteen and seventeen themes, which resulted in the following attachment so i guess that’s not the reason. Going over plugins in a minute

So i tried disabling all the plugins also to no avail. However, if i disable Advanced Customfields Pro all the content on the page disappears so i can’t check if it works with this plugin disabled. Are there any know issues with asgaros and ACF Pro?

@dw5000 Please ensure that you check the correct page. In your screenshots I only see a wpforo-shortcode – which is another forum-plugin for WordPress and not related to Asgaros Forum.
