My business requires me to combine a number of my websites. The one containing my Asgaros forum needs to be moved over to a new URL. I have seen a couple of other posts about this, but I need something more specific to help me make this move. I attempted to simply export the whole site and import it to the new site, but got errors and nothing came over. I have activated the Asgaros plugin in the new website. What other steps do I need to take? How do I duplicate the structure of the old one? How do I move the users? The posts? You also mentioned something about changing a category ID, but I don’t know how to do that. Sorry to require such detail, but I suspect there will be others who need the same. Thanks for your help.

 

Here are a few details about my setup, in case it helps:

I am on a Bluehost server and know how to get around in the file manager, though I don’t know what all the different files are for.

The old site is using the Theme Twenty Seventeen.

The new site is using the Astra Pro theme.

I do not yet have any users imported into the new site, except for my own.
