Sidebar widget to quickly open thread

Sidebar widget to quickly open thread. I need a feature like this.

How can we do such a plugin or widget field? Or could you add such a feature? I’m sure it will be a nice convenience for many people.

Hello @glen

Such a widget would still require some kind of forum-selection because otherwise it would be not clear on where to open the new topic. If you need this kind of “quick topic function” only for a specific forum, you could also try to add a direct link to the topic-form instead, for example:

https://asgaros.com/support/addtopic/5/

you’re right. how can I do this as a drop-down menu because there are too many topics 🙁
