Registering an account outside of wordpress?

Regular users will only be able to have access to the profile editing part in the wp admin. You can add the roles in you WP installations.

Asgaros forum is not an independent software, it is a plugin that integrates completely with Wordpress, that is why it uses the wordpress user system.

Create a separate login system for Argaros where users can register independently. This would involve building a user database and authentication logic. You can use plugins like User Role Editor to customize what each role can do. You can restrict access to the WordPress dashboard and other features. Check if Argaros has built-in support for external user authentication or if it can be configured to work with custom user databases.
