Plugins destroying site and each other in WP are the one of reasons I was on Joomla. I thought those days are past, but here we are again.

 

PS: It look like Asgaros forum pikck up something that does not belong to him.

PS #2:  You suppose start with shortcodes. [forum] would be ok 1990 or 2000. Those times was only one forum :). Today there are a lot of them. Somebody could decide to have not 2 but 3 different forums in single WP installation. Maybe [AsgarosForum] or [Asgaros_Forum] or [asgarosforum] or [asgaros_forum]or [asgaros-forum]….  After that you need to find out why Asgaros forum pikck up themes from Ultimate Member plugin.

PS #3: Asgaros forum actually put it’s sample pages with shortcodes everywhere at WP installation. There is no errors. You need just to remove all it’s topics.  It made sample pages in WP too.
Although there is no practical use of those pages in forum, they show if shortcodes works. It is shame I have to delete them. It would be practical if there be an option to hide them.

PS #4: I made mistake in PS #3: Asgaros forum actually put it’s sample pages ……
It should be:

What exactly do you mean with “Asgaros forum actually put it’s sample pages with shortcodes everywhere at WP installation”? I dont create any sample-pages at all. You only have to add the forum-shortcode to the content of the page where your forum should be located in.

Forum is translated now. Ultimate Member plugin themes are deleted. Here is my forum now.

I kind of deducted a way to translate the forum by reading the aboave thread but is does not seem to work.

I have downloaded the dutch files unzipped them and placed them in the wp-content/languages/plugins/ directory.

Nothing seems to happen however. Do I have to do something else?

I see there is also a file under wp-content/plugins/asgaros-forum/languages, but that is a .pot file
