Problem with changing language

I have a problem with changing language. I paste files .po .mo to following folders:
…wp-content/languages/plugins/asgaros-forum-pl_PL.po and asgaros-forum-pl_PL.mo

and

…wp-content/plugins/asgaros-forum/languages/asgaros-forum-pl_PL.po and asgaros-forum-pl_PL.mo

After that there is no change, whole form is still in english.

Please help me change forum language to polish (there is no change option in settings).

Have you created the translations by yourself or from where do you have them? Maybe they are not complete so they dont show all translations.

I didin’t create them, they whre alredy there in the plugin and language folder when I instaled It by the wordpress plugin menager. Also there was not translated .pot file, witch I deleted. When I serch the forum there is no translation at all, everything is in english. It’s like the plugin doesn’t read the translated .po and .om file, maby you can direct me where I can get full translated polish .pot file.

I dont deliver any language-files by default so I assume that its an old language-file from the WordPress translation-system. As you can see here the polish translation is only 30% complete. So I assume thats the reason why the majority of the forum is still shown in english language.

There is also full translated polish language pack on plugin site: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/asgaros-forum/language-pack with .po and .mo files (these files also do not work located in the previously mentioned folders). I don’t understand why their not oficialy approved and implemented into the lastest version of the plugin, if you can download them from the official website.

Language files are not translated in a plugin because otherwise you have to release a new update after every string-change. And those changes occur all the time. Thats why WordPress provide translation-files via the WordPress updater separately. Translations can only be approved by official native-speaking Translation Editors. I dont speak polish, so I cant do this.

I just translated complete forum in Slovenian language. After that downloaded files .po and .mo. Translated content is not there. How to download translation?
