Yes, that error happened because now you have two versions of the plugin installed. Please delete the development-version folder via a FTP-application on your server because I will release an update in the next few hours:

Do not uninstall the development-version via the WordPress plugin-overview because otherwise topics/forums/etc will get deleted as well!
