I had a look and it seems there is a problem when the permalinks have /index.php/ inside. I will try to find a fix for this so seo-friendly URLs will work as well.

Quote from Asgaros on May 23, 2018, 11:10 pmHello again, @janb
I am just working on a little update which should ensure that seo-friendly urls also work with custom permalink-structures containing strings like /index.php/.
I would be happy if you could try out the following (stable) development version:
https://github.com/Asgaros/asgaros-forum/archive/b07eee6006c145c0f647b48a10722be0159f7e7d.zip
I am looking forward to your feedback if it makes seo-friendly urls work on your site as well so I can release an update as soon as possible. 🙂

Quote from JanB on May 23, 2018, 11:23 pmI am not that tech to do such a risky operation. Shall I just install the zip once again? Shall I delete the old one? Shall I deploy the files directly into the folder on my host server?
I am afraid to loose all my data and settings

No, please dont delete or uninstall anything. To make it more easy I have attached a zip-file to this post which contains one single file: forum-rewrite.php.
If you know how to do it, you can replace the file in wp-content/plugins/asgaros-forum/includes/forum-rewrite.php with this new one to check if it fix that bug.
If you dont have the technical knowledge to do it: Dont worry. I will test it a little bit more by myself and hope I can release a new update soon. 🙂

Same for me : since last update last week, I have all pages giving a 404 not found error. Disabling SEO friendly URLs make pages working again.

Quote from gbrugiere on June 4, 2018, 1:33 pmWell, I’ve uploaded the file and, first, I get an error message :
Fatal error: Cannot declare class AsgarosForum, because the name is already in use in /home/arcaludidc/www/wp-content/plugins/asgaros-forum-79c5a663d5bcd091994dd0e5c70e0e399e3d88a7/includes/forum.php on line 5
I have disabled the “old” extension and enabled the “patch”.
It seems to work now.
Thank you.
