Newbie Question Registering

I have the forum loaded on my page but when I try to register it says registration for new users is inactive. I have looked all over and can not find the option that allows new users to register, Also I want to make sure that I have to approve the new user.

How can I set it up to allow users to register then approve registration?

Hello,

you have to enable registration in the general WordPress settings. Approval can be done via some WordPress extensions. You can have a look into the official WordPress plugin repository.
