I made a print screen and inserted it in a page to “show it off” but there is nothing better then showing the real McCoy.

you just need to go to the structure-settings in the administration-area and activate the “closed” checkbox for each forum. Now users are not longer able to create new topics inside those forums. They still can reply in topics as long as they are not closed as well.

Quote from maxwell@1956 on April 16, 2017, 10:44 pmthanks much. i actually have the forum setup as read/write availabilty for 3 membership levels through “menu” restrictions. i thought it would be a good visual to have the live Forum available for the “free trial membership” and the lowest paying membership levels while restricting their ability to “read only.”
