How to post videos and photos in topics?
Quote from Joocta on July 15, 2019, 2:22 amI made a forum with the Plugin, but my users can not put videos or photos in the topics. How is it done? The forum is very different from the ones that are in the market that are much easier to put images and videos.
In the forum that I made with the plugin, the option to insert file does not appear as it appears here in the support forum

Have you enabled the upload-functionality in the settings so that your users can upload files?
The links of videos (from YouTube for example) can be just pasted into the editor and they will get embedded automatically into the post:

If I reply with a photo, the topic disappears.

One way is to first upload the picture using the upload file just below, then if you want to make it an embedded picture instead of an attachment, just click on the attachment, select copy and paste it again in the text area. Then you can delete the attachment if you wish..
This is the long way but it works on every browser…
I just attached a picture from my computer to this post.. then save, then edit the post again
Once the image is on this server I can just copy and paste it in the text area..
I left the image in the attachment as well so you can see the difference between the two. I could have deleted the attachment and then all it would have been left is the picture above…
