How to log the original post after edited and add a delete option
Quote from daron4ever on August 8, 2018, 2:04 pmHi,
If the post is edited, the original post will be gone.
How to keep the original post? For example,
Last edited on 2018-01-20, 12:00 by Apple. click to see original post. And the users can not delete their own posts. I want the posts to be deleted if there is not any reply.
So, if there is a reply, it can not be deleted. Please inform me the snippet code or wish to add the options at the next update.
Thanks.

I dont plan to add a version-history for edited posts because this will fill the database with a lot of “garbage” over time – especially when some automated bots update their own Posts a million of times by purpose.
I am also not a big fan of letting users delete their own Content because I think this is something a moderator should do. Two more Problems with it:
- with enabled notifications functionality this can be used for creating a mass of mails while the Topic is removed immediately after it
- how can we identify if a post has a new answer? Maybe an answer is related to another post.
