How do you set a limit that new member must do before they can post a reply

Per title. I’d like to set a limit to a number of thread/post before they can reply or make a comment. How do I do this?

Can you give some more details on how the system should work? Basically you say that an user should require X posts before he can reply (create new posts).

But how can an user be able to create a post when he never fulfill the X posts requirement because he cannot create posts? What I want to say is: With your current use-case an user will never be able to create posts. 🙂

Sorry, I meant let’s say someone just registered. I want them to make at least 3 posts before they can start their own thread. I think I got it backward with the question.
