Forum subscriptions showing under user name

How to turn this off? Every forum a user is subscribed to shows up under their name in the posts. It shows number of posts, then every forum of which they are a member. Looks pretty, but I don’t want this shown.

I dont output the subscriptions of a user inside of forum posts. So I guess that you are talking about the assigned usergroups.

To hide them from the posts of an user you can go to the usergroups-settings and set the visibility of each usergroup to hidden.

I thought of doing what you suggest, but then the forum is hidden from users completely. I’m talking about eliminating the labels as in the attached.

Are you sure that you selected the correct checkbox in the usergroups-administration (not structure-administration!)? Please have a look at the following picture:
