Quote from imchivaa on September 5, 2018, 9:53 amHi,
Is there a way to limit which user group can post on certain forum? For example, i have a forum name Announcement in Category IT Help Desk ,i want those that have SysAdmin user group to be able to post in the forum Announcement but others can view the thread created by them.
Thank you for such a wonderful plugin. =)

Currently it is not possible to define read/write permissions for individual groups. But: If those users who are in the SysAdmin group have administrator oder forum-moderator privileges, this is easily possible. Just enable the “Closed” checkbox in the structure-settings for the Announcement-forum.
In closed forums only administrators and forum-moderators are able to create new topics but the topics can be accessed by everyone. Normal users can even answer in those topics as long as this topics are not closed as well. Basically you can have a look in the Announcement-section of this support-forum – it works the same way. 🙂
