Forum Migration from SMF to Asgaros

Hi,

I have a forum running with SMF (Simple Machine Forum) and i’m planning to create one withe Asgaros.

I want to know if there is a way to migrate my Forum (topics, groups, sections, members…) from SMF to Asgaros.

Hey @rafie,

we don’t have a automatic import function at the moment, but you can insert it directly to the database.

Do you mean by “insert” that the Asgaros Database has the same Structure as the SMF Database? Please some details 🙂 🙂

Hey @rafie,

I don’t know the structure of SMF Database, because I’ve never used it. So you would have to check the Database of SMF and Asgaros and insert the values into the new structure.

So you should have some basic knowledge about SQL to check how to insert the values. Sorry that there is no simple way.
