Forum descriptions

Hi,

I just installed the plug-in and am finding my way around.  Maybe this is a suggestion more than a question…  Is there a way to display the forum and subforum descriptions when they are opened, instead of only seeing them at the highest level?

Using this support forum as an example, Announcements is a forum.  The description is “Latest news and announcements about Asgaros Forum.”  Click the link to Announcements, and the description is gone within the forum itself.  Not a big deal here, but I have a forum with subforums where being able to provide some instructions at the top would be extremely helpful.

As a workaround, is there an option to make a post sticky, so it stays at the top?  I can’t find that option, either.

Thanks!

Never mind.  As you might expect, I found the Sticky option as soon as I submitted my topic.

Hello Aronya,

the upcoming version will have a new option which allows you to show the description inside of a forum. Here is the changeset:

If you want to support the development of Asgaros Forum, you can leave a good review or donate. Thank you very much!
