Does asgaros have more features than bbpress?easier to work with?

Just a small update. I decided to install asgaros forum and so far have pleasantly been surprised. It took me about 3 hours tinkering with the set up where it literally took me several weeks with bbpress, and still never got it together. I am still a pretty raw newbie and I still have a few issues to fix, and probably will need a bit of advice, but basically I think it is just about ready to go..

A private messaging-functionality is not available in this forum-plugin because Asgaros Forum is a pure forum-extension. Maybe I provide an addon for this one day.

Sorry for the late reply. I try to keep this plugin as simple as possible because a lot of other forum-plugins are “bloated” with features or are difficult to use and/or configure. So I am glad to hear that its working well for your.

You might laugh, but in trying out bbpress I literally fought with that thing for several weeks, till I was grumpy and miserable. in bbpress I was told the password reset is in the profile section, and if you get locked out, w-e-l-l you have a problem.. I tinkered with asgaros for several hours and had it working. I still want / need to fix and add a couple things like the password reset and register, and am checking out a few plugins, but basically it is done..
