Change Username

Hello, I have a member in a forum that wants to leave and I don’t want his posts to be called by his username, can I change the username to Asgaros or do I have to do it in the wp_users table in Wordpress

Hi @wernie,

I think you can’t change the username, because WP does’nt allow to change the username (only in the DB direct.)

But, if you delete a user in WP-Backend > User, WP asks you to reassign his content to another user.

So you can add a nother user befor deleting this user and reassign his content.

thank you, that’s the solution. The user was willing to leave his posts if his name was the real name is changed.
