Cant see text when typing in forum

this is definitely a problem with your theme because of some reason the WordPress editor (tinymce) is not loaded at all in the frontend. For loading the eidtor I am using the wp_editor() function which should do the job. So I assume you are maybe using some other extension which prevents you from using the editor in the frontend.
