Can I turn off the WP setting for article comments and still have Asgaros work?

I was wondering whether I could disable the setting in WP under Settings -> Discussion -> Allow people to post comments on new articles

and still have Asgaros work? I want to disable comments site-wide on articles but I don’t want to jeopardize the forums so please let me know whether this setting would disable people from posting in the forum or whether it has nothing to do with it.

I’ve been using Asgaros for a couple months now and LOVE it!

The setting you mentioned only affects the comment-section of WordPress blog-posts (or pages). It has nothing to do with the forum-system itself. So you can safely disable it! 🙂
