Backend Moderation

Did I miss it or is there no way to moderate posts in the backend? Is every new post automatically approved in the forum without any email notification?

Yes, currently it works like this. But you can enable approval for new topics.

You can directly enable it in the structure-area for individual forums. Just change the forum-status to “Approval”.

It seems like there might be a misunderstanding regarding the moderation process for posts in the forum. Typically, forums do allow moderators or administrators to manage content through backend settings. This includes approving posts before they go live, managing post visibility, and receiving email notifications for new submissions.

If you didn’t see moderation options in the backend, it’s possible that the settings allow for automatic approval of all posts.
