Basically it would be possible for me to add this sorting-behavior for unordered list, but this would possibly change the structure-ordering of all users who are using this plugin with unordered forums after installing the update. I really want to avoid to change the ordering of existing installations without the knowledge of users because I faced this issue already in the past were suddenly a lot of users complained why I changed XYZ in their forum with the last update.
I suggest you to invest a couple of minutes in re-ordering the structure once so everything will look as you prefer.
