Another Cache Cleaner to recommand ? #nosweep

Hello guys ! Thanks for your help 🙂

I tried Sweep to clean orphans and unused database and forum disappeared. Knowing it comes from Sweep Plugin.

Do you recommand another one, similar and very simple ?

Unfortunately I cannot suggest you any other plugins for this at the moment.

However, I contacted the developer of the Sweep plugin here:

Maybe there is some way to add compatibility between our two plugins or at least a warning so users can be aware that the Sweep plugin is not compatible with Asgaros Forum.

To go further, you don’t recomand to install WP Rocket for e.g ? Is there a risk to delete all the content ?

Basically I never used one of those plugins. They are a little bit the same like those clean-up and tuning-tools for Windows. They remove and delete files for which they assume that they are not needed anymore. And at the end something is not working anymore.

WordPress has thousands of plugins and in my oppinion its impossible for those tools to be compatible with everything. Every plugin has its own way on how it works and even in WordPress itself things can change between updates. So if you use them, always make a backup before.

Excellent ! because Sweep is awesome and very useful.

Just tried WP-Optimize 2.2.13

Works well !! But I prefer Sweep, because it goes further in database and very quick.

Seems this forum gonna be so cool after those tests. I’m happy 🙂
