WP upgrade – Lost translation of Asgaros Forum
Quote from JanB on April 14, 2020, 10:42 amIs it normal that I have to start all over again with the translation when I update WordPress?
Are there any place I can find and restore all my work?

Updating your WordPress-installation should not have any impact of the translations used for Asgaros Forum. How have you added your translations?

Quote from JanB on April 20, 2020, 10:01 amI follow all the instructions when I translate with Loco Translater.
I also notice the warning “When upgrade WordPress, you may loose ……”
No problem, I have only translated the front-end part. That is only prox 20% of total. 🙂
Next time I will take a copy of the .po file before upgrade

Thanks for your reply. If you notice I did not try to take a backup from an old plugin into a new. I was talking about an upgrade of WordPress and not the PlugIn. When you do an upgrade of WP, it is given the warning that the translation maybe lost. And that is the fact. Therefor I will next time I upgrade WP, take a copy of my work and then upgrade WP. Then I can replace the po file where it belong back in the folder.
Did I made me more clear ?
