When you subscribe only to a forum, do you get email notifications for all topics and all posts?
Quote from don salmon on March 5, 2018, 3:39 amHi,
If I subscribe to a forum, and don’t check any other boxes, will I get email notifications for:
(a) all future comments on only one thread?
or
(b) all future comments on posts for all new topics
In case that’s new clear – if i DON’T subscribe to any new topics, will my initial subscription to the forum allow me to be both notified when new topics are created, and also get all posts to the new topics?

I have another question. I’m part of a 6 person working group preparing an Asgaros forum for 154 people on an old email list.
We’ve been experimenting with our Asgaros forum, and recently started having trouble with email notifications.
When I received an email notification for your reply, I clicked the URL and it took me right here, to the topic.
This initially occurred on our experimental Asgaros forum, but in the last few weeks, when I click the URL in the email, it takes me to the general forums area. On that page, I have no idea which forum or which topic I’m responding to, and have to go back to the email to double check
Is this a common bug on Asgaros, and can it easily be fixed?
Thanks much.

Basically the email-links should work the same as here – without any problems. Can you post an example on how one of the non-working links are looking? This can be caused by a wrong translation-file (if you are using a non-english version) or by another extensions (especially some SEO-/permalink-extensions can make some problems.

I have no idea why it changed, but I clicked the very same link and it went directly to the topic.
But that’s helpful information to have. Thank so much!
