Visibility and the possibility of writing

Hello.
Is it possible to set up a forum so that it is visible to newly registered people or unregistered and writing allows only a group of users?

Specific write-permission for usergroups are not available yet. What you can do at the moment is to create certain categories which are visible for all guests/users and additional categories which are only visible/accessible for users of certain usergroups.
