user names not visible

I have just set up the forum from scratch and everything works so far (with BuddyPress).

Now I have only noticed that the forum does not display the user names, but only the clear name.
Where can I set it so that only the user name is displayed?

In WordPress, users can by themselves define how their names should be displayed via the “Display name publicly as” option in their profile.
