Uploaded photos are larger than the original ones

Uploaded photos are larger than the original ones, how is that possible? Can I adjust that?

Asgaros Forum does not manipulate the uploaded photos in any way. However its possible that your hosting-provider is applying some modifications based on the server-configuration. Also check the uploaded files in the wp-content/uploads/asgarosforum folder.
