Upload of video
Quote from yaswad on April 17, 2019, 11:14 pmHello:
I have set the max allowed file size to 2GB, but when I create a new topic and upload a video file, the topic gets created but it does not upload the video to it. How can I overcome this issue. Please help.
I looked under content>uploads.asgarosforum, and could not see anything was created today, so it seems like the files are not being uploaded.
I attempted to upload a smaller video file (32MB) and it did upload it and can see the video file was added .
Thank you

The allowed file-size for uploads also depends on the settings from your web-hoster. If your server does not allow the upload of files greater than X, then also the forum-settings cannot change anything on it and you have to contact your webhoster.
You can read more about it here:

Have you checked both settings for upload- and post-size? They should both be set to the same value.
It can also happen that the maximum execution-time is exceeded because the upload of a file takes longer than a PHP-script will wait.

Thank you for the quick response. Where to check the post size? Is it ok the server or under the forum settings?
Thank you once again.

I found the post-size was set to 200m, I changed it to 2gb which solved the problem. Thank you for your assistance.
