Two Questions (Spam Problem and Customizing the Editor)

Hi,

I started using Asgaros forum back in 2017 and recently reinstalled after a long break. I’ve been able to customize most things to my liking and it’s working great… my only issue is that I’d like to add additional buttons to the editor (text size, headings, etc). If possible, I’d also like the ability to edit HTML directly, similar to the editor in the WordPress dashboard.

Any tips on how to go about this? I do have experience customizing independent WYSIWYG editors, but I’m not sure how to go about it with the default WordPress option.

When I came over here for support, I noticed you guys have a bad spam problem. Do you need moderators to help keep it under control? If so, I’d be happy to volunteer.

I installed the plugin Advanced Editor Tools (formerly TinyMCE Advanced) and it works fine.

I can edit the source text directly using the “Werkzeuge” button (marked red) in German.

Maybe it will help you too.
