Transferred Site To New Host

Hello,

I transferred the site to a new host that i have this forum installed on, the plugin is still installed but it does not show anything on the forum, but when i look on the database all of the posts are still there, not sure what happened during the move.

Hello Ryan,

are the categories/forums still there in the structure-administration? If not, you have to assign them manually via phpMyAdmin to the corresponding IDs.

Yes the categories and forums were still there, all of the posts that users had on there disappeared.

So actually the forums are not there. Because you have created a new WordPress site, the categories now have new IDs. To fix this you have to edit your database with a tool like phpMyAdmin and assign the correct categorie ID to the corresponding forums in the wp_forum_forums tables parent_id field.

There all setup correctly. Still not working. It works when transferred to some hosts then others it does not work.

Are you using some caching-plugins? Maybe they show you an old state of the overview without the correctly configured forums.

I have disabled them and it still does not help, like I said it works on flywheel hosting but not my hosting that I have.

Strange, maybe its some server configuration-error. I dont really know. Its really hard to figure this out or debug it when it has different behavior on two servers with the exact same plugin-setup.
