Other than access to links, what purpose does the top banner serve? Seems to take up a lot of room for just having some links.
Can forums title Overview be changed?

Hello Rob,

this top-area contains functionality which should be available from everywhere inside the forum. This means:

links to the different forum-areas (forum, members list, profile)
the search-functionality (when search is enabled)
a link to your subscription-overview (when subscriptions are enabled)
and the breadcrumbs for an easier overall-navigation through your forums

Can forums title Overview be changed?

You can change the output with an extension like Say what?.

Ah, ok. Makes sense. Do you have any plans to make this or parts of it a widget for a sidebar? That might help users better understand. I like that it’s all in one place, but non-technical users may not understand the navigation right away.

For the search-functionality there is already a widget available. I will check if I can add more widgets in future releases.
