Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down buttons not working…

We just added Asgaros Forum to one of our sites, and members are beginning to use it, which is cool! But the Forum Admin, is reporting the Thumbs Up/Down feature does not work. Meaning clicking one or the other does nothing. There’s probably a setting we’re missing, but if not, is there a way to hide them if we can’t make them work?

Thanks for this fun forums plugin, this a first for us, and we hope to learn the ropes on this first site, then add it to several other sites. Thank you!

Hey, it works here! Hope I can get it working on our forum 🙂

Well, I did figure out how to turn off the Thumbs Up/Down feature, but still can’t get it to work….

Might this be a caching issue?

Hello @otable1

sorry for the late reply! Yes, a caching-issue is possible. If edits to posts also dont appear directly as well, this could be an indicator that this is the reason. If you are using any caching-extension try to disable it for the page on which the forum-shortcode is located on.

Please also keep in mind that only logged-in users can use the thumbs up/down buttons. Guests see them (including a counter with the number of current votes) but a click will not have any effect for them.

If you want to support the development of Asgaros Forum, you can leave a good review or donate. Thank you very much!

OK, I’ll turn off caching for the forums pages, and see if that helps.

Thanks for you support, Asgaros.

Unfortunately, turning off caching did not correct the issue, so I’ve turned off the thumps Up/Down feature for now.
