Suspected bot.

When people try to register for our forum, they get a message, “Suspected bot.” There is no way on their registration form for them to confirm they are not a robot. How do I fix that so they can register? Thanks.

Hello @abar

Asgaros Forum does not have any bot-detection system and also dont generate such an output so this error is caused by another WordPress extension. Please try to disable other extensions one by one for testing purposes – especially security-plugins can often cause such errors.

Thank you, Asgaros. One more question, though. When I signed up for your forum so I could post my question, there was a space to enter my username, email address, and a check box to confirm I am not a robot. But on my forum, there is no checkbox. Is there supposed to be one?

This is also not a forum-related feature. This checkbox comes from another plugin which I use to prevent spam-bot-registrations. You can find it here:

That is what I use for my registration. It’s a good app. I suggest highly to use it. One thing I detest is Spammers.
