This can be a caching-problem. Please ensure that caching-plugins are disabled for the page which contains your forum-shortcode.

Thanks. How can you ensure caching-plugins are disabled? I only have one page. Its my home page, and that is where the forum shortcode is located. I am using a pagebuilder theme.

If you are using a caching/optimization plugin, this extension should have an option for this purpose available.
