Special characters in forum title

How do I include a special character like a single quote (‘) in a Forum Title without it appearing with a backslash (\) before it in the UI?

e.g. Bob’s Blog (set in Settings | General | Forum Title) appears as Bob\’s Blog when the forum page is displayed.
