Single Sign On / Member Only Threads
Quote from korporate112 on June 24, 2019, 6:58 pmHello,
We are developing a website for a client that has a user login section to the site. As part of this section, they would like to have a member forum. We would like to know if there is a way to have a single sign on? Is it possible to have them log into the members section and that also logs them into the forum?
They would also like to know if there is a way to have private boards in the forum where a moderator or admin can create a board that only selected members can see?
Thanks for your help!
Robert

Asgaros Forum uses the login-management of WordPress. If the members-area is only accessible after a login into the WordPress system and the forum is located inside a private member-area, then the user is also automatically logged-in inside of the forum.

Asgaros Forum has a usergroup-functionality. Those groups can get assigned to users and categories which allow you to create forum-areas which are only accessible for the users of those groups.
