Show Unread Topics – minor issue
Quote from dabrolga on December 3, 2018, 3:15 amHi
If you use a category shortcode like [forum category="42"] on a page then the Show Unread Topics link shows unread items for all categories, not just the category specified in the shortcode. If you then click on a link for an unread topic in another category the link doesn’t do anything as of course that topic doesn’t exist in the category specified by the shortcode. It would probably be better if only unread topics for the category specified were shown. It is not causing me a problem but I thought you should know.
Really appreciate the new features added in version 1.11… particularly the email templates. I wish all plugin authors did their email templates your way. Thanks for a great plugin.

Thank you very much for your bug-report. I just fixed this in the development-version of the plugin:
https://github.com/Asgaros/asgaros-forum/commit/855fd84ae8e7983a7bf5e44e4f1388988573322c
Those changes will also be included in the upcoming update.

I came across a similar situation with usergroups. The “Show Unread Topics” link includes topics not in the usergroup categories. Clicking the topic displays “Sorry, you don’t have access to this area.”
The changes made probably addressed this issue. Just wanted to pass it along.

Yes, this issue – which was caused by a wrong database-query – should be fixed as well with the mentioned bugfix-commit above. I will release an update in the next 72 hours.
