Show latest forum thread on homepage

Hi,

Is there a way to show the latest active thread on the homepage? I would like to show forum content already from the homepage – as a way to nudge people to visit the forum.  Thank you.

You can check out one of the available “Recent Posts/Topics” Widgets in Appearance -> Widgets and add them to your themes sidebar.
