Shortcode to subforum is ignored

There is a page https://testinstallation.online/bedrocan where I’d like to insert a subforum [forum forum=4]. It all works until I use another plugin that also utilizes shortcodes. In this case the shortcode of the Asgaros Forum still works, but loads the whole forum and not the desired subforum.  Any way to solve that problem?

I use Elementor Pro as a pagebuilder.

Thanks!

I have managed to find a workaround to this problem by creating an extra Template (Section) in Elementor, placing the shortcode (not the Asgaros one) into this template and load that template on the landingpage. So is the Asgaros shortcode to the subforum undisturbed and loaded successfully. But oviously it is no elegant solution so I’m kinda curious what you can tell me about this.

The other plugins that have conflict with the asgaros shortcode are:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/democracy-poll/

and

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpdatatables/

Thanks in advance for looking into this.

Best,
Adam

Hello @norequest

First of all: Sorry for the late reply! I am currently on a business-trip so its a little bit hard to me to answer all support-questions.

Long time ago Asgaros Forum itself had the same issue in combination with other shortcodes caused by the way on how the shortcode got processed in the forum-code. I guess in your case the same happens now the other way around which means that their logic is somehow preventing the execution of other shortcodes inside of the same content-area. I suggest you to contact its developers directly so they can check if this is the case.

Have you also checked if this is maybe caused by Elementor? Ar other shortcodes on the samepage running into the same issue when they are not located inside of separate templates?

Hello Asgaros,

no problem, hope you are having success day in day out!

Unfortunately I cannot say that it is the other page that has the problem. Just installed one more plugin that works with shortcodes and the same problem occured. If you want to take a look, the URL in my first post still applies. If you happen not to be able to check it in the coming days you might as well just swap the domain with cannabis-apotheke.de

@norequest

@asgaros

Nginx sollte keiner Probleme verursachen.
