Is there a shortcode for Unread Topics?

Currently there is no shortcode available for unread topics. All unread topics can be accessed via the unread-view of the forum, for example:

Just reviving this post in case anybody has created a shortcode snippet that just returns the number of unread topics?

I only need the shortcode to return the number.

Id use it in my menu, highlighted in red with an icon, to drive members to the forums 😊👍
