Restriction for different forums

My membership software allows me to use short codes to put around different content or elements to restrict access to membership levels. I am wondering if there is the ability for me to do this on different forums. So one forum can free members can access, another level 1 paid can access, another level 2 paid members can access. Right now I just restrict the whole page to one level, but would love to break it up.

It this plugin no longer supported? What I need to do is apply specific wordpress roles to usergroups. I assume there is no way to do that?

Hey @gettingaway,

At the moment it’s only possible to restrict a category. You can simply assign a category to a usergroup and it will be restricted to the forum usergroup.

Then you would have to sync the user roles to user groups, but that doesn’t work out of the box. So you will have to write some code to do that.
